This Privacy Policy explains how RACJIN Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company” or “We”) collects, stores, uses, and discloses information about you when you use the Company’s websites, games, mobile applications, and other products and services (collectively, the “Covered Services”), or when you otherwise interact with the Company. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Company is the data controller of your personal information.
The Company may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. Should we make any changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy and, in certain circumstances, may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to the homepage of the Covered Services or sending a notification to you). We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy each time you access the Covered Services to stay informed about how we handle information and how you can help protect your privacy.
I. Information Collection
The information the Company collects from you varies depending on the Covered Service. We collect identifiers, internet or other similar network activity, history of use of the Covered Services, and location data, among others. Details are provided below. The purposes of collection are described in the section “II. Use of Information.”
1. Information Provided to the Company by the Customer
The Company collects information provided directly to the Company by the Customer. For instance, information collection occurs when the Customer interacts with the Company by requesting customer support, posting comments or replies on Official Social Media, participating in surveys, or engaging through other methods. The types of information the Company may collect include the Customer's account name, email address, photographs, images, and any other information the Customer chooses to provide.
2. Information We Automatically Collect When You Use the Covered Services
When you access or use the Covered Services, we automatically collect information about you. Examples include the following:
a) Usage Information: We collect information about your use of the Covered Services. This includes the gaming service ID automatically assigned to you by us or by the provider of the game console upon game initiation, levels completed, game scores, time spent using the Covered Services, and other gameplay information.
b) Log Information: We log information about your use of the Covered Services. This includes your browser type and language, access times, pages viewed, your IP address, and the website you visited before navigating to the Covered Services.
c) Hardware Information: We collect information about the computer, smartphone, or other device (hereinafter “Device”) you use to access the Covered Services. This includes the hardware model, operating system and version, browser, mobile network information, other Covered Services (mobile applications) installed on the Device, MAC address, IP address, International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number, and other unique device identifiers provided by your Device’s operating system.

e) Information Collected via SDKs, Cookies, and Other Tracking Technologies: We use various technologies to collect information, including personal information. This includes sending cookies to your Device. Cookies are small data files stored on your Device’s hard drive or in memory that help us improve the Covered Services and your experience, identify popular areas and features within the Services, and count visits.
3. Information the Company Collects from Third Parties
The Company may acquire information from third parties to the extent necessary for the implementation of the applicable Services. Furthermore, if the Customer makes comments or other information regarding the applicable Services public on social media, the Company may collect such public information (provided, however, that this does not include the username used by the Customer on said social media). In addition, when the Customer completes an app purchase, the Company may collect information regarding the Customer from the operator that provides the operating system for the Customer's device (hereinafter referred to as "OS Provider") as the said OS Provider processes the purchase on behalf of the Company. However, the Company does not receive information regarding the Customer’s payment method from the OS Provider.
II.Use of Information
We collect, store, and use your information only with your consent, or to the extent necessary for one of the following: (i) to perform a contract between you and us, (ii) to comply with our legal obligations, or (iii) for our legitimate interests (including operating, evaluating, and improving our global business). We carefully balance our legitimate business interests against your interests and fundamental rights and freedoms that require protection of personal data. In particular, the Company (or its contracted agents) may collect, store, and use information about you for the following purposes and for the period necessary to achieve those purposes:
Purpose 1. To Perform a Contract Between You and Us

・To process your participation in contests organized by the Company and provide the corresponding prizes.
Purpose 2. For Our Legitimate Interests (Including Operating, Evaluating, and Improving Our Global Business)

・To monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities related to the Covered Services.

Purpose 3. Where We Have Your Consent

・To monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities related to the Covered Services, understand your needs, and provide you with superior services. For instance, we may analyze feedback and other information you have published about the Covered Services on social media, either independently using third-party analytics tools or combined with other information such as gameplay data, to understand your needs and help in providing new services.
・To send you announcements and notifications (including notifications of winning events/campaigns) regarding products, services, offers, promotions, rewards, and events/campaigns provided by the Company, its group companies, or business partners. Also, to provide advertisements, news, information, and other marketing materials that the Company determines to be of interest to you.
・To conduct revenue trend analysis for each Covered Service, create statistical data segmented by customer attributes, develop new games and services, and perform other analyses by linking or combining information obtained from third parties with other information.
・For the purpose of displaying targeted advertisements within the Covered Services (including):
①Providing advertisements relevant to your interests.
②Monitoring and analyzing customer trends and usage status related to advertisements and our Services.
③Providing more personalized advertisements by understanding your needs through linking or combining your information with information collected from other customers.
④Conducting trend analysis by user category utilizing the Services, by combining information collected from you with information provided by third-party service providers.
・For the purpose of displaying targeted advertisements outside the Covered Services (including):
①Creating statistical data segmented by customer attributes by combining your information with information from advertising companies with whom we partner.
②Providing your information to the Company’s group companies, advertising agencies, and ad delivery platforms for the purpose of ad serving and analysis, to promote the Company’s (including group companies’) games and services.
③Performing other advertisement analysis and performance measurement.
III.Information Sharing
The Company will not share, transfer, or exchange your personal information with third parties (excluding our contracted agents, including domestic and international group companies), except where permitted by law or when we have your consent. Even in such cases, the Company will not sell your personal information to third parties. Subject to the above, the Company may share non-personally identifiable information about you (information that cannot identify you within the Company) as follows or based on other provisions of this Privacy Policy:
a) When you choose to participate in interactive areas of the Covered Services with other users (such as multi-player, chat, or sharing features), your information may be shared with those users. Please note that using personally identifiable data (such as your full name) as a username within the Covered Services is prohibited.
b) When sharing information about you, to the extent necessary, with our employees, group companies, vendors, consultants, and other external service providers who require access to such information to perform work on our behalf (which may include, for example, developers, payment processors, website hosting service providers, or information storage and processing service providers).
c) When disclosing information in response to legal processes or information requests, where such disclosure is in accordance with or otherwise required by applicable laws, rules, or regulations (including, for example, governmental authorities, regulatory bodies, or judicial courts).
d) When there are reasonable grounds, after balancing your legal interests with our legitimate interests, to believe that your actions are inconsistent with our user agreements or policies, or that the disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or others.
e) When there is a legal basis to share your information in connection with any merger, sale of Company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company.
f) Based on your consent or instructions.
IV.Advertising and Analytics Services Provided by Third Parties
We may allow third parties to provide analytics services and serve advertisements within the Covered Services. These parties may utilize technologies to automatically collect information regarding your Device and your use of the Covered Services. Such information includes the IP address, device identifiers, time spent on pages within the Covered Services, and links clicked within the Covered Services. This information may be used by the Company and the third parties for purposes such as maintaining, improving, and analyzing the functionality of the Covered Services, as well as delivering contextual and targeted advertisements that may be of interest to you. The utilization of your information by these third parties is subject to their respective privacy policies, and the Company does not have control over, nor is it responsible for, the privacy policies of third parties.
In certain Covered Services, subject to your prior consent, we may combine information regarding the usage status of the Covered Services with information collected from our other games, information collected from the games of our group companies, and other information collected from third parties. This is done for purposes such as analyzing game and monetization trends, analyzing player categories, creating new games and services, and conducting other analyses. Furthermore, based on your consent or instructions, the Company may use certain information for advertisements delivered outside of our games. This includes analyzing player categories by combining information about you with information obtained from our Ad Partners, providing information about you to our advertising agencies and ad delivery platforms for the purpose of delivering advertisements for the Company’s (and our group companies’) games and services outside of those games, and otherwise performing advertisement analysis and measuring performance metrics.

V.Social Sharing Features
The applicable Services do not provide social sharing features or other tools that enable the Customer to share activities with social media or to provide links to the applicable Services.
VI.Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be fully secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of any personal information you transmit to us over the internet.
VII.Data Storage and Deletion
All personal information and other data collected through the Covered Services will be rendered anonymous or deleted once they are no longer necessary for the purposes outlined in Section II above. This shall not apply if further retention is required by law.
VIII.International Transfers
The personal information we collect from you is typically transferred, stored, and processed in Japan. However, in some cases, the Company may disclose your personal information to third parties located in foreign countries that have an equivalent level of personal data protection system to the GDPR, or other foreign countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as the laws of your country. Furthermore, the Company may store your personal information on servers established outside Japan by the Company (and our group companies) or external operators. However, when disclosing your personal information to third parties located abroad or storing your personal information abroad, the Company will understand the personal information protection systems in the country or region where your personal information is stored or handled, and take reasonable steps to ensure that the use of such information complies with the laws of each region.
IX.Third-Party Sites
The Covered Services may contain links to other websites or services operated by third parties. Please be aware that this Privacy Policy applies only to the Covered Services, and we cannot be responsible for any personal information that third parties may collect, store, and use through their websites. You must be sure to read the privacy policies of any websites you visit.
X.Push Notifications/Alerts
We may send push notifications or alerts to your Device. You can deactivate the sending of such messages at any time by changing the notification settings on your Device. We will only send push notifications or alerts containing promotional content after you have provided prior opt-in permission for receiving such messages on your Device.
XI.Data Protection Rights
The Company will respond appropriately to requests made by you (or your legal representative, if you are a minor) in accordance with applicable laws. Examples of rights that may be included under applicable law include the following:
a)Where you request the Company to disclose your personal information or the records of its provision to a third party.
b)Where you request the Company to correct, add, or delete your personal information held by the Company because it is factually inaccurate.
c)Where you request the Company to cease the use or provision to a third party, or to delete your personal information, on the grounds that the Company has unlawfully obtained, used, or provided your personal information to a third party.
d)Where you request the Company to cease the use or provision to a third party, or to delete your personal information, for reasons such as the Company no longer needing to use your personal information, or due to a leakage, loss, or damage to your personal information held by the Company, or where there is a risk that your rights or legitimate interests may be harmed by the Company’s handling of your personal information.
e)Furthermore, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal information based on the legitimate interests of RACJIN.
f)Where the Company processes your personal information for the purposes of direct marketing, you have the right to object to such processing at any time. This includes processing for the purpose of analyzing customer categories, to the extent that it relates to direct marketing. If you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, the Company will no longer process your personal information for that purpose. Even in this case, the Company may continue to send you transactional or relationship-based messages, to the extent that it concerns the ongoing business relationship between both parties.
g)By exercising these rights, you will not be discriminated against or distinguished from other users by the Company.
To make these requests, you must submit an application after answering our verification questions via the contact form in Section XII below to confirm your identity. For requests made by a legal representative or other agent, separate documentation proving the power of representation, as specified by the Company, must be sent by mail or electronically.
For requests for notification of the purpose of use of personal information, or disclosure of personal information or records of its provision to a third party, a fee, the amount of which will be separately communicated by the Company’s contact desk, will be charged.
If you are not satisfied with the Company’s response to your request, you may file a complaint with the supervisory authority, provided such an authority exists in your country of residence. The Company will not provide a different level of service even if these rights are exercised by you. However, please note that if you request the deletion or cessation of the collection of information necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the Covered Services, you may be unable to use all or part of the Covered Services.
